Artists Influenced by Elvis Presley
If you became a "Rock 'n' Roll" singer after 1956 you were influenced by Elvis Presley. Even if you weren't influenced by his records. Why? Because Elvis was the first "Rock" star. And every Rock artist has his DNA. Even some Pop, Country and R&B acts. As someone who has read a ton of things on Elvis, I am always fascinated to see who he has influenced since he became a worldwide phenomenon in 1956. From obvious choice (Beatles) to more surprising ones like PJ Harvey.
So here's a wide variety of names that have mentioned Elvis as an influence. This is only a partial list. It's going to be updated quite often. I'm sure I will be adding more names for a long time.
