Conchords

Maybe they'll make a movie, a TV special or another album, but chances are the Flight of the Conchords will go back to what they were before their HBO show: a cult act. Ending after 2 seasons wasn't a tough call. Season 1 had great songs to go along with thin plots and a great supporting cast. But Season 2 wasn't as good. The songs were dull, and without good songs the show just limped along. The album that came from it, I Told You I Was Freaky, also wasn't as good as Season 1's album.
But still let's give them a hand. A cult band gets famous and then goes back to being a cult band. I think it's just the way they want it.
