More Phil

A followup on my post about Phil Collins/Daryl Hall. Hall's Live From Daryl's House which is online will now be syndicated. Check this out, it's excellent.

And as for Collins, for the sake of completism, I just bought his Motown tribute Going Back. It's okay, not great, but okay.

Still, is it possible to fill sorry for a multi-millionaire like Collins? His music has outlived naysaying critics, but in the end those same critics have won, haven't they? Collins is miserable, and it's the stigma of being "Phil Collins" which was perpetrated by critics in the 80's that is doing him in.
