Option Magazine

From the mid-80's until 1998, Option magazine was the best Indie music magazine. Look at the dates of its existence: this is pre-Internet when magazines and zines and College radio were the only means of finding Indie acts.

Like a lot of other mags, once the internet got started these publications became obsolete. This was Pitchfork before Pitchfork was born.

Option relaunched last month as an Internet site, and if you remember the magazine, you'll like what you see. No its not the same as going to your mailbox and then devouring the latest issue. But it will bring back fond memories, even as it brings you into the present.
