MySpace

It was the place to be seen and heard.  Artists streamed their music, posted concert dates and posted info to their fans.  And fans joined the artists page.  You were invested in your favorites.
Then came Facebook.  But before that, MySpace was already troubling users.  Pages didn't get updated.  Pages were taken over by sexy ads.  Soon, fans went elsewhere to get their fix.  And Facebook was safer, cooler and easier to use.
The last time I went on MySpace I got some strange malware stuck on my computer.  Had to do a system restore to get rid of it.  Never went back to the page again.
MySpace just got sold for nothing.  A sad end to an originator.  But remember just because you are on top doesn't mean people aren't always looking for something better.
