RIP Chet Flippo

If you know anything about the great Rock and Roll critics of the Golden age of music criticism, then you know the name Chet Flippo.  But he was somewhat overlooked in the pantheon of the Marsh's, Christgau's, Williams, Marcus'.  But he was there.  Mostly known for his Country music writings, he also did many other articles on many different genre of artists for Rolling Stone magazine in the 70's.
