Best/Worst Lists

So what's easier to put together, a Best of list or a Worst of list?  I've often said the latter, and the reason I write about this is because I've seen more of these since the dawn of the Internet.

It's a lot easier to make fun of bad albums or artists than it is to praise them.  But I find myself skipping these worst of's, and there's a simple reason.  Most of these lists all list the same names.  I want to be surprised, but in 2013 there's few worst of lists that surprise me.

Best of's are a different story.  Usually someone will go throw in a name or album that I wouldn't think they would touch.

I don't think I've ever done a worst list on this blog.  Always found that looking for the good stuff was tougher.
